How much value are you getting out of your new security widgit?

The stage is set and the race is on: you've setup your newest tool to fight against the latest threats. It's configured, it's managed, and as a bonus it comes with a slick UI. When it comes to silver bullets, this comes pretty close. The red team finally lost to my blue team, I think this time the blackhats are going to lay off my network.

In this session Antoine will discuss the never ending cat and mouse war waged between black and white hats. This war is resulting in endless Innovation, endless new tools and endless headaches for security professionals.

How can you invest large dollars and make sure you get a return?

Why does is it seem like you spent vast sums of money on a terrific tool only a year ago only to hear you need the latest and greatest a year later?

Does it pay to be an early adopter of new technologies and if so, why?
